Thursday, July 10th, 2008

Good morning guys,

Having an effective sales page is the single most important factor in determining if your new product will sell or not. You can have the BEST product in the world and it will not sell at all if you do not have a high converting sales page. Many people make common mistakes when creating sales pages. Here are mistakes you should avoid:

  1. Takes to Long to Load-You want a sales page that loads fast, otherwise your potential customers will click on it and than just X it out!

  2. Bright Colors Flashing Rapidly at the Reader-A little color and originality works best

  3. Misspelled words! Yes PEOPLE LEAVE misspelled words on their sales page believe it or not! Please don’t do this!

  4. Sales page is to long. Don’t reiterate your points 3-4 times over and over again. They get it the first time. It is good to have a summary of your points at the very end.

Good morning,

Writing a sales page can be extremely easy, especially if you follow the steps below.

1. Make sure the overall message the sales page is trying to make relates directly to your targeted audience.

2. Be brief, understandable, and to the point. Explain to your target audience exactly what you have to offer and in a clear and concise way.

3. Make the customer NEED not WANT. You want to make sure the customer NEEDS the product and not just WANTS it. Make it seem like the customer cannot live without it.

4. Create a CALL TO ACTION!

5. Create a free Ecourse and give it away when customer’s input their information. You will need Aweber immediately.

6. Bold or highlight the important words you want the customer to see on the sales page. This will help grab the potential customer’s attention.
