If there are a good bit of searches done for what I call “selling keywords” then chances are you are in a good niche. Another good indicator is if there are people paying for advertisements (Adwords)
If you search one of your niche’s keywords and you see people selling similar products to what you are planning to sell, then you are in great shape to start product creation.
Okay, on to creating the sales page, minisite, and ebook. You might need to hire a designer to do the minisite. You can find them anywhere - digital point forum and elance.com to name a few. It takes practice to write a good sales page so I recommend looking at a lot of different sales pages and get a hang for how they write them.
You have to be sure the ebook is comprehensive, original, and fully explains your topic.
If you write a crappy ebook all you are going to have is returns, which is NOT good.
Okay, finally, MARKETING!
Without marketing, you will make no money and that my friend is sad.
You need to have a plan for paid advertisements, SEO, article marketing, link building, EVERYTHING!
Think outside the box. Test with small budgets for paid advertising and write a LOT of articles.

First off, I want to sincerely apologize for not making posts the last couple of days. As I’m sure many of you realize by now I’m a full time college student and full time internet marketer. I provide a lot of services to fellow internet marketers (mainly webdesign) and I had a guy that needed a project very quick. He paid very well for me to basically drop everything else I was doing to get his website up by Saturday. My blog and my friends suffered this weekend but I have to take these jobs when I get them.

First, let’s think. Do I think affiliate marketing is worth it?
Yes and No - Affiliate Marketing has been very good to me, but at the same time it’s been not so good to me. I believe it almost holds back a lot of new internet marketers and puts them in a comfort zone of not learning the neccessities to really become rich in this business (product creation, web design, advanced marketing) Instead, all an affiliate marketer has to do is solely work on promoting the product through various methods. The affiliate marketer is only rewarded with an average of 50% of any sales he or she makes.
If you are new to Internet Marketing, I highly suggest Affiliate Marketing to get a grasp on the business. After that, you really do need to learn new methods to make money online.
To become an affiliate marketer you are going to need to sign up with the largest marketplace, Clickbank.com
Only promote products that have high gravity and are in hot niches. Don’t take gambles until you understand how it all works.
I highly recommend using free methods of advertising the affiliate offer such as article marketing, squidoo lens, blogs, forums, etc.
PPC is highly overrated in affiliate marketing and in my opinion is impossible to be profitable over the long haul due to you not keeping 100% of the sale.
To be completely honest, I only dabbed around in affiliate marketing for a couple of months and made around $3000 the whole time doing it. I just wasn’t motivated to promote someone elses product everyday, but hey, that’s the entrepreneur inside of me.

People love FREE STUFF. People are literally psychologically attached to seeing the word FREE and something clicking. It’s hard to explain but its the best way to get somebodys attention.
On many of the e-products I sell today my main sales page GIVES AWAY a FREE REPORT.
Let’s say I wrote a 50 page book on “How To Make Money”
I’d draw the visitor in by saying “Sign up for my mailing list and get chapters 1-3 ABSOLUTELY FREE!”
I get the users e-mail address for further sales, I gain their trust, and they are happy. You ALWAYS need to be building an e-mail list in this business. My favorite e-mail list autoresponder service is www.aweber.com . They are awesome and hold all four of my e-mail lists.
I’ll be back tomorrow to go more into detail on how to use this method but I just wanted to get some ideas going in your head before we go into the lesson tomorrow.

What a day! As many of you know I’m in college and today was my first day back. I can already tell this semester is going to be full of sleepless nights followed by pots and pots of coffee. My situation is kind of unique because I honestly know what I want to do with my life. I have my internet marketing career planned out for the next decade.
I’m finishing college for three reasons:
1. To please my family - they’ve invested thousands and thousands of dollars for me to go to college
2. When I’m older I want to be able to say I graduated college
3. I only have two years left
Unless the internet goes extinct in the next fifty years I can honestly say my degree is going be collecting a lot of dust. Oh well!
Okay, on to my latest method on “How To Make Money Online”
This method involves using Craigslist and EBay. I actually came up with this method when I was 17 years old REALLY needing to make a quick $100-$200. It’s easy and just takes a bit of work. I’ve recieved a couple of e-mails needing to make quick money online and this is honestly the quickest way I could come up with.
Okay, here is the method.
Everyday in YOUR city, THOUSANDS of valuable items are listed on Craigslist. The sellers are EAGER to sell the items and many times have NO idea what the worth of their item is.
YOUR JOB is to find good deals on Craigslist and then caller the seller.
Probably 60-70% of the time you can negotiate with the seller to LOWER the price by 25% or more. The LISTED price means nothing!! Craigslist sellers are generally the most desperate and listed their item on CL because they wanted CASH TODAY. If you don’t mind traveling to meet up with sellers and wheeling and dealing you can make some serious cash doing what I call Craiglist/Ebay Arbitrage.
How do you find out if its worth to sell on ebay?
Simply create an ebay account and do an ADVANCED SEARCH for your item and click “Completed Auctions”
BAM! You can see every price for your item the auction has closed at.
Generally I look for electronic items on Craigslist because those are the most sought after on EBay.
Do not be afraid to negotiate on the phone!! I’ve saved THOUSANDS. I’ll usually say something like
“I can pick up the item in an hour CASH if you can sell it to me for $XX.XX”
They will either counter offer or say SURE!
It’s easy guys.. It takes work but its GUARANTEED!
Build your EBAY rep to gain more and more bidders for your items.
One word of caution.. be a bit careful dealing with Craigslist sellers. There have beeen people set up to be robbed before so I HIGHLY suggest meeting the person in a public area such as a McDonalds or a mall etc.. I NEVER go to the persons house..
Also be sure to look the item completely over before buying.
